Add many documents at once
Choose a folder full of scans. Each one is put on the archive server, then read in turn, and what comes back waits on the shelf until somebody checks it. Nothing reaches the public site from this screen.
1 What are these
All the files in one batch become the same kind of entry. If the folder is mixed, do it in two goes. Books, pamphlets, lectures and scanned documents are all primary works.
Adding a whole run, such as a booklet series or a memorial lecture? A series is the shelf, not the books on it, so it is made once on the single-document screen and works are filed into it afterwards, under Publication details.
2 Choose the files
PDFs and images, up to 120 MB each. You can pick a whole folder at once, and you can add more before starting.

3 How they should be read
Reading a document costs money on your own account, at your provider's rates. The key stays in this browser and is never sent to us. If you would rather not, skip it: every file still gets uploaded and filed, just with nothing filled in.
Kept in this browser only. Clear it by emptying the box.
4 Working
Leave this tab open while it works. Anything already finished is saved and stays saved.
